For the year 2016, college sports day was held and was run on the basis of inter-house competitions. Prizes for the best teams were awarded to Inyoin hall for senior team and Engwau for the junior team.

TCA also participated in the district athletic competitions, which were conducted in second term. Teso College emerged 4th overall out of 18 schools. Three of our students were noted for outstanding performance in relays and shotput and they represented our district at the national championship at St. Leo Kyegobe. The boys were: Daniel Emuron, S.4 Beta, John Okullo, S.6Science I, and Emmanuel Okello, S.6Science I.

Much of the team’s success was due to empowering the athletes with a high level of training and coaching and the recognition of excellent performance by the school administration.
